Angelo grabbed the paper bag the elixirs were placed into and he nodded a thank you to the cashier. Looking to Jasmine as she asked why she was as her question. “They weren’t very accepting of my new form..” He said and pursed his lips. He was truly very hurt by his family’s banishment, he thought that his family was the only group of people in the world he could trust, and after that it took a lot for him to trust anybody.
“Would you like to go out to dinner, or would you like me to cook?” He asked with a smirk. Some were caught off guard by his ability to cook since he was vampire, but it always came in handy on dates, or when he had evening company.
Jasmine nodded. “I know how you feel. My family wasn’t too proud when I decided to marry a human. We haven’t spoken since,” she confessed with a shrug. She didn’t really care, she had never had a relationship with her parents but still. It stung when she was seventeen and madly in love, not having people to support you was always difficult.
Jasmine blinked at him confused. “You cook?” She said and then a small laugh escaped her lips as she shook her head. “You are seriously full of surprises.” She said as she looked over at him walking onto the main straight. “All I can make is pancakes so…yes I would love for you to cook for me.” She nodded as she blinked at him.

Angelo nodded, “Yeah, I like spending time with him. He’s…” He searched for the right word, yet he couldn’t place it. Hanging out with Caeden stroked a fatherly bone in him despite the other being older then him. Taking the elixir he smiled and grasped another bottle.
Walking the long way to the register with Jasmine Angelo couldn’t help but admire her eyes as she spoke, then paid attention to her words as she looked down. Angelo looked away as she continued to speak and he nodded. “Hm.. I know exactly what you mean.” he said, feeling a little out of place himself. “I haven’t felt in place since my family banished me.” He said with a soft chuckle and pulled his wallet out of his back pocket, paying for the elixirs.
Jasmine walked along side him towards the register. She noticed the way he was looking at her, like something about her was too intense. She blushed as she glanced sideways. She listened to his next statement and couldn’t help but give a confused expression. “Banished you?” She asked as she tilted her head to the side. “Why did they banish you?” She wondered aloud.
Then again her own family had banished her. When she had decided to marry a human her parents thought she had utterly lost her mind. But she fell in love, and she didn’t care. But even after his passing she couldn’t help but find herself upset with her parents. She hadn’t spoken to them since she told them she was getting married, and she probably never would. But that was a little something she often kept to herself.

Really? That is so wonderful! You should try and find something that inspires you. But I have problems getting inspired too sometimes.

Well I did find something that I might want to paint, but I feel a bit weird asking her to do this. If not I’m sure I’ll find something else to inspire me.

You should ask her Jonah, the worst she can say is no. Besides asking a girl if you can paint her is the biggest form of flattery someone can give.
